Account & billing

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes Tasks (up to 30), Pomodoro, 3 habits, and Notes. No credit card required, no time limit.

What's included in Pro?

Pro unlocks everything: unlimited tasks, unlimited habits, Goals, advanced statistics, and offline access. It also includes Pomodoro linked to tasks and detailed productivity reports.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free plan — your data is never deleted.

Do you offer student discounts?

Not yet, but it's on the roadmap. If you're a student, the free plan is designed to cover most of what you need to start.


Data & privacy

Do you use my data to train AI?

No. Your data is yours. We don't sell it, share it, or use it to train models. You can export or delete everything from Settings → Data.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored on servers in the US (AWS). Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings → Data → Export. You'll get a .json file with all your tasks, habits, notes and goals.

Exports are available on all plans, including free.


Features

Does the Pomodoro timer work offline?

Yes. The timer runs fully offline. When you reconnect, the session is logged to the linked task automatically.

Can I link a Pomodoro session to a specific task?

Yes — and that's what makes it different. Select a task before starting the timer. When the session ends, the time is logged directly to that task. No manual tracking needed.

How do habits work?

You define a habit, set a frequency (daily, weekdays, or custom days), and check it off each day. FocusKit tracks your streak and shows a calendar history so you can see patterns over time.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. FocusKit is a web app that works on mobile browsers. A native app for iOS and Android is planned.

Does it integrate with Google Calendar or Notion?

Not currently. FocusKit is intentionally self-contained — the goal is to replace those tools, not wrap around them. Integrations may come later based on user demand.


Troubleshooting

I'm not receiving the confirmation email.

Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, wait 2–3 minutes and try resending from the login page. If the issue persists, contact us at support@focuskit.app.

My data isn't syncing.

Make sure you have an active internet connection. If sync is stuck, try refreshing the page — FocusKit will reconcile any offline changes automatically.

I forgot my password.

Go to /auth/login and click Forgot your password?. You'll receive a reset link within a minute.

Password reset links expire after 15 minutes. If yours expired, request a new one.
